Most questions are answered below. If you need more help, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Getting started

Open the app and tap Start. A plant grows on the timer while you focus; when the session ends, rate how you feel and the plant may join your garden. Tap the session card to pick a focus mode, an intention or a goal before you start.

How do I earn plants?

Plants are earned by your total focused minutes, not per session. Your first plant comes with your first completed session; the rest unlock as your total grows, up to the legendary Ghost Orchid. The Garden tab shows them as a grid, a collection or a timeline.

What are the focus modes?

  • Pomodoro: a focus block followed by a short break, with a longer break after a few blocks. Lengths are yours to set.
  • Deep Work: long blocks for uninterrupted work.
  • Flowmodoro: count up and work until you feel done; the break scales to your work time.

Categories such as Study, Work or Reading tell Insights where your time goes. With Pro you can add your own.

Is the timer accurate in the background?

Yes. The timer is based on real clock time, so it stays right when you leave the app or lock your phone. The Lock Screen card and the Live Activity show the countdown, and a notification tells you when a block or break ends if you have allowed notifications.

What is PomoGarden Pro, and what is free?

The timer, your garden and your daily goal are free, always. Pro adds Insights, the Break Coach, auto-start and flow protection, your own focus modes and goals, the Day Planner, the Full timer face and the Collection and Timeline garden views. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency.

How does the 7-day trial work?

Every new install unlocks all of Pro for 7 days. No payment details are asked for and nothing is charged; the trial simply ends. The trial is meant to be used once, so it does not restart after a reinstall.

Yearly, monthly or Lifetime?

The yearly and monthly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions billed through your Apple Account. Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is available. The yearly plan and Lifetime support Family Sharing. Open Settings → PomoGarden Pro to compare them.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PomoGarden and tap Cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore a purchase?

On a new device or after a reinstall, open Settings → PomoGarden Pro and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.

Can I get a refund?

All payments go through Apple, and only Apple can issue refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple Support. We cannot see your payment details or refund you ourselves.

Is my data private?

Yes. Sessions, plants, plans and statistics are stored only on your device. There is no account and we run no server. The only copy that leaves the device is the backup in your own iCloud Drive, which we cannot access. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do backups work?

With iCloud Drive on, the app saves a daily backup file to its folder in your iCloud Drive. After a reinstall, the app finds it and offers to restore. You can also back up by hand and share the file: Settings → Privacy & Data → Back Up & Restore. Keep your own backups; we cannot recover data for you.

How do I delete my data?

Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete All My Data erases everything on the device. Deleting the app also removes its local data. To remove the backup, delete the PomoGarden folder in iCloud Drive with the Files app.

Notifications are not appearing

Check iOS Settings → Notifications → PomoGarden, and inside the app Settings → Sound & Haptics. Focus modes such as Do Not Disturb can silence them; the Lock Screen card still shows the countdown.

Widgets and the Lock Screen card

Add the Today widget from the Home Screen widget gallery and the accessory widgets from the Lock Screen editor. The Live Activity appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while a session runs. If a widget stops updating after an update, remove it and add it again.

iPhone Duo

On iPhone Duo the app opens like a book: the timer on one page, today’s progress and your plan on the other. Half-open on a desk it becomes a quiet desk clock during a session; tap a plant and its story opens on the facing page. On the outer display and on every other iPhone the layout is the familiar one.

Languages

PomoGarden follows your device language and is available in 15 languages. To use a different language for the app only, open Settings → Language inside the app, which takes you to the per-app language setting in iOS.
