RunPulse reads completed runs from Apple Health. After you finish a run on your watch, it syncs to Apple Health and then appears in RunPulse — this can take a short time and requires your watch and iPhone to sync. Open RunPulse and it will refresh automatically. Make sure you granted Health access when prompted (Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › RunPulse).
Route mapping uses your location during a run. When you start your first run, allow location access. You can review or change this later in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › RunPulse.
Pro unlocks features such as custom and race training plans, the Live Activity with real-time metrics, the 14-day running forecast, shareable run cards, heart-rate zones and Max HR detection, and unlimited run history and stats. Exact features may evolve over time.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Open RunPulse › Settings › Manage subscription, or go to the App Store › your account › Subscriptions. There you can upgrade, change, or cancel. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Open RunPulse › Settings and tap Restore Purchases, and make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase.
No. RunPulse is privacy-first and on-device. Your runs, routes, and stats stay on your device and in Apple Health. We don’t run servers that collect your data, we don’t use ad or analytics trackers, and we never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
It’s an optional feature that works only if you provide your own API key from a third-party AI provider. If you enable it, run summaries are sent directly from your device to the provider you chose, using your key. We don’t proxy or store this. Using an AI provider is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Distance, pace, heart rate, calories, and weather are estimates from device sensors and third-party services and may be imperfect. RunPulse is a fitness tool, not a medical or navigation device. Always consult a physician before starting or changing an exercise program.
Your data is local. You can delete individual runs in the app, revoke Health access in iOS Settings, or delete the app to remove locally stored data. Data written to Apple Health is managed in the Health app.
