Privacy Policy

Subsbook is built so that there is nothing to collect. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what that means.

THE SHORT VERSION

We collect no personal data. None.

Everything you enter into Subsbook — subscriptions, prices, dates, notes — is stored locally on your device. Subsbook has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no servers of its own, so there is nowhere for your data to be sent, stored, or sold. The App Store privacy label for Subsbook reads “Data Not Collected” because that is the literal truth.

WHAT WE DON'T DO

No tracking, no ads, no analytics.

Subsbook contains:

No analytics or tracking SDKs of any kind
No advertising and no advertising identifiers
No third-party data sharing or selling — there is nothing to share or sell
No account system and no collection of names, emails, or contact details
No access to your bank, cards, or real payment accounts — all figures are entered by you, by hand

YOUR DATA

Where your information lives

On your device. Subscription data is stored with Apple’s on-device database frameworks and never leaves your phone unless you choose one of the options below.

iCloud sync (optional, Pro). If you turn it on, your data is stored in your private iCloud database, operated by Apple and tied to your Apple Account. The developer has no access to it and no ability to read it. Apple’s privacy terms govern iCloud.
Backups (optional, Pro). Backup files are plain JSON that Subsbook writes on request and hands to you. Where you keep or share them is entirely your choice and your responsibility.

NETWORK

The one and only network request

Subsbook makes exactly one kind of network call, and it is off by default: an optional once-daily exchange-rate lookup from the public service frankfurter.app. The request contains currency codes only — no personal data, no identifiers, and nothing you have entered in the app. If you leave auto-fetch off, Subsbook is a fully offline application.

NOTIFICATIONS

Reminders are scheduled on your device

All reminders are local notifications created and delivered by iOS on your device. There are no push servers, and the contents of your reminders never leave your phone.

PURCHASES

Payments are handled by Apple

Subsbook Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees or stores your payment details. Apple’s own privacy policy and terms govern the transaction.

CHILDREN

Not directed at children

Subsbook is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. Because Subsbook collects no personal data from anyone, it collects no personal data from children.

YOUR RIGHTS

Access, correction and deletion

Because no personal data is collected or held by the developer, there is nothing for us to hand over, correct, or erase on our side — you already hold the only copy. To delete your data: use Settings → Delete all data inside the app, or simply delete the app. If iCloud sync was enabled, turning it off and deleting data removes it from your private iCloud database as well. CHANGES

Changes to this policy

If Subsbook ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated first and the date above revised. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
